The Ohio Department of Aging
serves more than 2 million older Ohioans. We help mature adults live active, healthy and independent lives through programs like our well-known Golden Buckeye Card. We promote positive attitudes toward aging and older people through outreach, volunteer programs and other efforts. We also provide home and community-based services that help frail individuals remain in their own homes and support consumers of long-term care.
Franklin County Office On Aging
The purpose
of the Office on Aging is to provide centralized access
to diverse programs and individualized service for older
adults, dependent adults, and their families so they can
preserve their independence.
Central
Ohio Area Agency on Aging
The mission of the COAAA is to plan, coordinate and advocate
for the development and delivery of services for older
adults, families and the community. Through leadership,
funding and education, the COAAA supports individual choice,
independence and dignity.

managed care companies, nursing facilities, and assisted
living corporations. News sources and publications are
also found here.
Last
Acts Archive
Last Acts was a call-to-action campaign designed to improve
care at the end of life. Although it ended in 2005, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation maintains the archive on its site.
AARP Ohio
The American Association of Retired Persons is a membership
organization for people 50+. The Ohio chapter advocates for issues relevant to this state.

Provides health care and nutrition services to seniors
in the Greater Columbus area.
