Mohican Canoe Livery & Fun Center (Loudonville)
Escape to the great outdoors with Mohican Canoe Livery & Fun Center, Ohio's First
& Finest, offering canoes, kayaks, rafts, and tubes on the beautiful Mohican
River. Trips vary in length with a gentle flowing current and occasional faster
rapids for 2 hours up to 2 days. PRICES VARY DEPENDING ON THE LENGTH OF THE
TRIP.
Lagoon Deer Park (Sandusky)
The entire family will enjoy walking with and hand feeding over 200 animals
as you stroll through the park. An average summer will see the birth of over 75
babies. You can enjoy fishing in the stocked ponds for rainbow trout, bullheads,
channel catfish, white bass, and carp. Largemouth bass, rock bass, bluegill,
crappies, perch, muskies and northern pike are propagated on property
(additional charge for fishing, please bring your own bait & tackle). The
gift shop features an antique cigar store Indian, accompanied by Cherokee
handcrafts. Also including souvenirs, collectibles, jewelry, and sportswear for

TRAIN RIDES
Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad
Enjoy one-hour train rides aboard a vintage 1920 train. Relax on this excursion train and experience the rural countryside and surrounding areas of historic Lebanon in Warren County.
Minerva Scenic Railway
This railroad has delayed excursions until July, 2006. Please check their website for schedules, prices, and directions.
A C & J Scenic Line
Enjoy a 1-hour, twelve-mile round trip family train ride on the last
remaining section of NYC's "High Grade" line which ran from Ashtabula
to Pittsburgh, via Youngstown, with a branch to Oil City. Ride in any of 3
vintage coaches pulled by a first generation diesel locomotive. Additional cars
are a baggage car and caboose.
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad offers train excursions throughout the beautiful
Akron-Peninsula area of Ohio.
Hocking Valley Scenic Railway
Climb aboard an old-time passenger train for a leisurely ride in the beautiful Hocking Hills. The trains run on weekends (Memorial Day weekend - October) roundtrip from Nelsonville to Haydenville, and roundtrip from Nelsonville to East Logan.
The 14-mile Haydenville trip departs at noon and takes about 1 1/2 hours to
complete. The 22-mile East Logan trip departs at 2:30 pm and takes lasts about 2
1/2 hours. Both trips make 1/2 hour stops at Robbins Crossing, a restored
pioneer village on the Hocking College campus.
Jefferson Depot Village
Historic Tours of Jefferson Depot Village -- ALL ABOARD! Come on down to the restored
historic 1872 Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railroad Station. See this
unique 120-foot station with its ornate architecture of a bygone era, the
operational wall-hung flush tanks, and the original potbelly stove. Take a
stroll through the 1918 Tuscan Red Caboose and relive the days of our ancestors.
Travel back in time as costumed tour guides take you through the quaint restored
1848 "Church in the Wild-Wood" (the original first Methodist Episcopal
Church built in Jefferson, now available for weddings. Even the church barn,
